Yeah today!!! I got to talk to Dan. I don't know if he walked to the phone or if they wheeled him to it. I was too excited to ask. He said, "Hello honey. How are you doing?" He sounded soooo good! We talked for a few minutes and he said he still hurts but that it's getting better. I told him it was good to have him back and he said, "I don't know where I was, but I know it was real." Maybe one day we'll know and maybe not but at this point it's just good to talk to him for real.
The nurse said they had him sitting up more today and that the Physical Therapist had seen him. His name is Bryce but I didn't get to talk to him. Maybe tomorrow. The nurse also said that they had had him up to the bathroom today. Good news!
When I got home and got the mail there was another yellow envelope with another kind card, gifts cards and some cash. I have no idea who has been so thoughtful, but I so appreciate it. I've decided it must be just anyone and everyone I know. That way I will be grateful to everyone just in case. Thank you all!!
The Christensen's have brought dinner over almost every night and I think I'll go have some right now. Thank you!!!
